The National Finals Selection Panel, comprising 8 judges, has announced the names of the twelve university undergraduate and secondary school students who have qualified for the National Finals Symposium to be held in Wellington on Friday 8 September.
Dr William Rolleston, President from 2014-2017 explains why Federated Farmers has decided to join the Eureka! family of sponsors and fund a Gold Scholarship for the "Our Land and Water" Science Challenge.
The Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards National Finals Symposium returns to the Dominion Museum Theatrette this year after a couple of years up the road at Massey University's "The Pit" Lecture Theatre. We like the idea of returning to our original site because it means we can live -stream our proceedings to our alumni and friends around the world.
The Eureka Trust welcomes the three new Gold Scholarships, worth $5000 each in the hands of the recipients, which have been made available for students who enter the Sir Paul Callaghan Eureka! Awards competition. These are proudly sponsored by Watson & Son, Summerset Group Holdings and Federated Farmers of New Zealand (supported by Blue Cliffs Station)
Schools throughout New Zealand are receiving a reminder today about the scope and depth of the Eureka! programme.
Nearly 12,000 specially designed flyers have been sent to primary schools, intermediate schools, secondary schools and composite schools all over New Zealand to inform teachers and students about the range of Eureka! activities they can become involved in.
